There are so many good songs from the 1960s that the Green Bay musical group Daddy D Productions can cherry pick ones that suit its lineup of singers and musicians.
Musicianship is prime. Time and again, a section becomes a tough act to follow – and then the next featured performer delivers.
The show ends with a big section of songs of The Four Seasons with Cahall singing Frankie Valli’s sky-high part, the falsetto being Cahall’s forte. Again, musicianship is prime.
The performers appreciate one another, and Thursday that surfaced on stage when Emmer came up to follow a Thielke-Zuidmulder solo. “Anybody else want to sing?” Emmer asked the audience. “I don’t.” Of course, Emmer did. And it was another good song sung well.
